Abu Dhabi Sports Council and PLC hold financial criteria workshop
Abu Dhabi Sports Council has organized a workshop on financial criteria of the UAE clubs licensing at its headquarter in collaboration with the Pro League Committee (PLC) in the presence of representatives of Abu Dhabi five clubs ( Al Ain, Al Jazira, Al Wahda, Bani Yas and Al Dhafra). The workshop was attended by Talal Al Hashimi, Director of the Technical Affairs in Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Michelle Chai PLC Technical & Competitions Director along with Ryan Healy and Khaled Fahmy from the Clubs Licensing Department.
The workshop reviewed the financial aspects for the football companies in Abu Dhabi and the necessity of applying the licenses criteria with high proficiency and work to support the march of professionalism and abidance to regulations provided by the Pro League Committee (PLC) in accordance to the AFC clubs licensing regulations.
Talal Al Hashimi, Director of the Technical Affairs in Abu Dhabi Sports Council assured the need to promote and support the efforts of the Pro League Committee (PLC) to improve the professionalism system in its all aspects, including the financial aspect, stressing that the Abu Dhabi Sports Council is keen that Abu Dhabi football clubs companies are to meet the conditions and complete success in the application of laws, regulations and financial systems in a way that reflects the large endeavors led by the Council to support the administrative and technical system in those clubs since the beginning of the era of professionalism.
Al Hashimi praised the distinctive attendance of the football companies’ representatives in Abu Dhabi clubs and their big response and interaction during the workshop, which emphasized the development of financial performance indicators to achieve the highest degree of integration in the clubs licensing project, which will enable our clubs to achieve a quality move and great progress in its professional march. He praised the prominent role of the Pro League Committee (PLC) and its big endeavors in supporting the UAE’s football march towards the skylines of professionalism and excellence. Al Hashimi presented Abu Dhabi Sports Council’s shield to Michelle Chai in appreciation to the great efforts made by the Clubs Licensing Department.
