Dubai Cultural and Sports Club was founded in 1997 and was publicized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in March 1997.  The establishment of the club came as to serve the young generation in Dubai and in the UAE in general along with the areas of Al Awir, Al Khawaneej, Al Hbab, and Al Lisali in particular, culturally, athletically, and socially as to rehabilitate an aware generation armed with responsibility to serve its country with all honesty and sincerity.

Although the team remained swinging since its establishment between ascending to the first division league and descending to the second division, but it managed to move up and play in the Etisalat Pro League in the 2010-2011 season.  In the 2011-2012 season, the team struggled to stay in the Professional League and finished tenth after collecting 20 points only.

·The most important achievements of the team: Qualifying to the first division league in the seasons: 2002-2003, 2004-2005, and 2006-2007. They won the championship of Al Ittihad Cup for first division clubs in 2009-2010.

Dubai Team qualified to the Etisalat Pro League in 2010-2011.
