Al Dhafra Club was founded in 2000 within the UAE’s policy framework aimed at caring for the youth and sports everywhere in the country. The club offers its various services and activities to all youth of the western region.

Al Dhafra Club seeks to foster closer ties of cooperation and friendship with all institutions and organizations that are working in the field of youth and sports in order to have further development and progress in these areas.

The vision of Al Dhafra Club stems from its endeavor for the club to become an integrated sporting facility of world class which would contribute in providing a healthier life for citizens and residents by giving the opportunity to young people to realize their potential and abilities in exercising sports.

Since its inception in 2000, Al Dhafra Club was not very far from the first division tournament, which turned into a professional league in season 2008-2009. 

·Achievements:

The team won the second division championship in the two seasons of 2001-2002 and 2006-2007.

Al Dhafra were runner up in the second division tournament- season 2003-2004.
