Ajman Club was founded in 1974 following the dissolution of (Al Shula, Al Nasr, and Al Hilal) clubs.

In season 2009-2010, Ajman and Al Jazira teams were qualified to the Etisalat Cup final, which was played at Al Maktoum Stadium at Al Nasr Club in Dubai, Al Jazira were crown champions after beating Ajman.

Saturday, May 10^th, 2009, was a memorable day for the Emirate of Ajman where it was the day of glamor for qualifying to the first division (the first edition of the Etisalat Pro League) after an absence of 18 years, and specifically since season 1990-1991.Unfortunately, the season was not completed because of the Gulf War.  Moving up this time came after beating the Masafi team 1-0 in the last round of the second division tournament. Ajman surprised everybody by beating the favourites Al Jazira 2-1 in the 2012-2013 Etisalat Cup final, to take their first trophy of the professional era.

President’s Cup in season 1983-1984.

The team qualified to the Etisalat Pro League in its fourth edition after being crowned champions of the first division in season 2010-2011.
