All 12 Professional Clubs submit Club Licensing applications
The Professional League Committee (PLC) announced that the 12 Professional Clubs submitted the Club licensing application and all required documentation that will allow them to participate in the AFC Champions League 2013, as well as depositing the required fees, just before the deadline was over. Wednesday 29 February was the deadline decided earlier by the Professional League Committee (PLC) for all clubs to submit their necessary documents.
Dr. Khalid Mohammad Abdullah, PLC Acting Chief Executive Officer, extended the Professional League Committee's deep gratitude to all 12 Professional Clubs for their highly appreciated keenness and response which will make things easier for the PLC to go ahead and complete all the requirements according to the Asian Football Confederation's (AFC) instructions. He added," The Professional Clubs have to provide other documents related to Sporting Criteria, Human Resources, Personnel Criteria and Financial Criteria no later than June 15.
The committee has also identified June 30 as a deadline for the clubs to submit their Legal Criteria, Commercial/ Business Criteria, and July 31 as a deadline for submitting the documents concerning Infrastructure Criteria.
Dr. Khalid assured that the Licenses Committee, which was formed by the Professional League Committee, will work on finalizing the licenses of the UAE four teams Al Jazira, Bani Yas, Al Nasr and Al Shabab, who will take part in the AFC Champions League 2012 to be submitted to the Asian Football Confederation before next December.
