Toure of Ajman leads the scorers; Al Wasl the strongest frontline

The number of goals scored in the third round in the Etisalat Cup Competition was declined compared to the first and second rounds, where the players scored only 16 goals in the last week, while they netted 24 goals in the first round and 19 goals in the second round. The total number of goals scored in the three rounds played so far was 59 goals.

Al Wasl have maintained  the biggest win in the third round after beating Al Wahda 3-0, while Al Shabab have achieved the biggest victory in the three rounds following a 4-1 win over Bani Yas in the first round. Al Jazira-Al Wasl match registered the highest number of goals (7 goals) when Al Jazira defeated their rivals 4-3.

Al Wasl frontline is the strongest among all other teams with 9 goals scored in three games, while Bani Yas, Al Nasr and the Emirates were the weakest with each team netting just two goals in the three rounds .Seven clubs namely Al Shabab, Ajman, Al Jazira, Al Wasl, Dubai, Al Nasr and Al Ain were the strongest defense lines as each of them conceded only 4 goals, while Sharjah and Al Ahli defense lines were the weakest after conceding 7 goals each.

Ibrahima Toure from Ivory Coast leads the scorers with five goals, followed by Brazilian graffiti from Al Ahli and Argentinean Mariano Donda player of Al Wasl as each scored 4 goals.

On the other hand the number of yellow cards shown by the referees in 18 games was 57, including 8 given to Al Jazira players. 23 yellow cards were shown in the second round along with 3 red cards, while 20 yellow and 4 cards were given in the third round besides 14 and 3 yellow and red cards were shown in the first round.

Ajman was the only club whose players did not receive any colored cards in all three games while Al Ahli's players were given 4 red cards, the highest number among all the 12 teams.

The red cards were shown to: Ismail Al Hammadi, Tariq Ahmed, Ali Hussain and Khalid Mohammad (Al Ahli), Ibrahima Diaky and Subait Khatir (Al Jazira), Abdullah Darweesh (Al Shabab), Salim Saleh (Al Wahda), Ahmed  Mal Allah (Dubai) and Tamer Mohammad (Bani Yas).
