The UAE FA and UFL Joint meeting discusses vital issues

The UAE FA and the UAE Football League joint committee has discussed in their second meeting held today at the UFL venue in Jumeirah, the draft terms and functions of the Technical Advisory Committee, which includes representatives from the UAE Football Association and the UFL .

The meeting was attended by Saeed Abdul Ghaffar, Vice Chairman of the UAE Football Association, Yousuf Abdullah, the Secretary-General, Mohammed al-Doury  UAE FA Legal advisor, along with Dr. Matar Rashid Al Darmaki Vice-Chairman of the UFL  Board of Directors  and Carlo Nohra the UFL Chief Executive Officer.

The meeting reviewed the draft terms and functions of the Technical Advisory Committee, which includes heads and representatives of the Boards of Directors of the UAE FA and the UFL. They discussed all issues related to the work of the Committee according to the agreement signed between the UAE FA and the UFL. They also reviewed the draft of mechanism of issuing decisions that separates its work besides discussing the issues of field of work for more clarification to secure harmony in the general terms as well as the meetings of the procedures to be followed in issuing the recommendations.

The meeting discussed also the third item on the agenda concerning the name of the UFL. Both sides have submitted their points of view on the topic supported by legal points, and it was decided to defer the matter for further study.
