The UAE Football Companies’ 3rd CEO Meeting

Dr. Khalid Mohammed Abdullah, The Pro League Committee (PLC) Acting Chief Executive Officer, headed the Football Companies' Chief Executive Officer (CEO) 3rd meeting held on Thursday January 19, 2012 at the headquarters of the Football Association in Dubai.

Dr.Khalid Mohammed Abdullah conveyed to the Football Companies CEO the greetings of the Chairman and the members of the PLC Board of Directors.  

The meeting started by the adoption of the minutes of the previous meeting, the Evaluation of the Asian Football Confederation "AFC" to the UAE Professional League, in addition to the technical management reports that focused on the Club Licensing project.

The marketing, match organization, sponsorship, promotion and activities, Media requirements, the mechanism of revenue distribution to the clubs and other related issues have been discussed in the meeting.

Al Wasl FC CEO proposed to form a smaller committee to discuss all the marketing requirements and the recommended projects before the CEO meeting. Approved by all the participants, a committee was formed including: Dr. Khalid Mohammed Abdullah, Anas Bukhash representing the Professional League Committee, Clubs' CEO of: Al Wasl, Al Ain. Bani Yas and Al Shabab, where it was decided to put a full description of the committee to be adopted by the PLC before it is presented to all clubs to start the tasks assigned to it.

Dr. Khalid Mohammed Abdullah stressed the importance of periodically holding such meetings to stand on all the related matters to the functioning of the clubs during the matches organized by the PLC, assuring that the meeting was very beneficial and efficient to all participants. "The results of the meeting came positive and we are looking forward to cooperate with the UAE professional clubs to reach the maximum degree of professionalism" said the PLC Acting CEO.
