The AFC delegation concludes the inspection visits

The AFC delegation members have concluded their inspection visits to the UAE Professional League Clubs after paying a visit today to both Abu Dhabi-based Al Wahda and Al Jazira Clubs, accompanied by the Professional League Committee members, who were received at Al Wahda Club by Rashid Al Zaabi member of the Board of Directors and Khalid Awad the assistant CEO of the club. The delegation members also visited Al Jazira Club afterwards and were received upon their arrival there by Phil Anderton the CEO of the club.
The delegation inspected Al Nahyan and Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadiums and discussed several issues related to the readiness of the playgrounds in both clubs, in addition to the organization of the games, technical standards required, marketing and media, transportation, logistics of hotels, communications, fans attendance and all matters concerning the organization of the AFC Champions League matches next year.
The delegation will conclude their inspection tour on Monday October 10th, and  will hold  a joint meeting at 9:30am with UAE FA and PLC Officials followed by a workshop with the UAE clubs at 1.30pm and a press conference at 5.30pm at Intercontinental, Dubai Festival City.
It is worth mentioning that Abdullah Naser Al Junaibi Deputy Chairman of the Professional League Committee, Chairman of the Technical Committee and the official spokesman, was also present during the delegation's meeting with Al Wahda and Al Jazira clubs at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
