PLC visits the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi

The Professional League Committee (PLC) paid a visit to the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi, accompanied by Al Wahda’s superstars Saeed Al Kathiri and Yaqoub Al Hosani and Bani Yas star player Saad Mubarak.

The visit was attended by HE Mohammad Mohammad Fadel Alhamli, PLC Chairman, HE Abdulla Nasser Al Junaibi, Vice Chairman of PLC, Dr. Khalid Mohammad Abdullah, PLC Acting Chief Executive Officer.
The visiting delegation was received by Mr. Ahmed Al Mansouri, Patient Service Guide Director, Mr. Abdullah Al Nowais, Patient Affairs officer, and the city’s Media Office Department.

The Delegation visited different sections and departments in the city and presented souvenirs to the patients wishing them health and prosperity.

HE Mohamad Mohamad Fadel Alhamli PLC Chairman stressed the importance of such visits referring that all UAE clubs should do the same in organizing visits to various hospitals and medical cities in different emirates, that would reflect a positive impression on patients who would appreciate support and encouragement. "We are very happy to visit and meet the patients in the medical city, our activities in the Committee will not stop at this point, we seek to participate in various social activities in different emirates hand in hand with all the UAE Professional Clubs".

Al Wahda’s star Alkathiri also stressed the importance of such visits on regular basis, assuring that it is the duty of the athletes to participate in charity and to check on the health of patients.  "We try to ease the pain and support the patients and encourage them to get well soon. We look forward to see them in the Pro League matches and all the other football competitions"
