t was until the 21st minute the game started to work in a different direction, Edinho sending a well done long shot that settled in the right side of Mohamed Al Hamadi gave the hosts the confidence to turn the wheels to their side till the end of the first session.

The second half of the game saw both sides striving hard to score, Emirates were looking for an equalizer to save them from falling down again and Sharjah needed to feel safe and earn the three points, but it was the Emirates Uzbek Alexander Geynrikh who leveled the score after he received the ball from Diarra and smoothly found his way right in front of the empty net in the 77th minute.
