Sharjah sign a one-season contract with Romanian Tita Valero

Sharjah Club has signed a one-season contract with Tita Valero from Romania to lead their Senior Football Team in the upcoming season and replace the former Portuguese coach Carlos Azinha who was dismissed recently due to the circumstances of his wife's sickness. Tita signed the deal on Thursday, September 15th in the presence of Dr Abdul Salam Al Kaabi, Executive Director of the club and his deputy Nasser Kashwani.

The new coach has arrived to the country last Wednesday and he followed the team's training session the same day along with Yahya Abdul Karim, Chairman of the club's Board of Directors and Ahmed Nasser Al Fardan, Secretary General of Sharjah Sports Council and a number of the club's members and fans. He recorded his observations on the performance of his new squad's players. He held a meeting afterwards with the management of the club to agree on all details and terms of the contract before signing officially yesterday.

Tita is due to start his stint and lead the team's trainings after their match against Al Nasr scheduled for this evening in the first round of the Etisalat Cup. He worked before with Al Nasr of Kuwait and led them for just two months after he expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of the team's professionals and coached Syria National Football Team in the Asian Cup in Doha 2011, and preceded by the achievement of the AFC Cup with Al Ittihad Football Team of  Syria.
