Sharjah sign a one-season contact with Brazilian Vandenho

Sharjah football Club have signed a one-season renewable contract with Brazilian professional player Vandenho former leader of Sporting Braga Club of Portugal which extends up to the end of the next season. The player has arrived on last Monday night and underwent medical tests and the results proved he is physically fit and not suffering any injuries or serious disease.
Vandenho began his career in 98 and played for 7 Brazilian clubs. The Brazilian Rio Aveo was his former and last club before moving to Sporting Braga and got the captaincy of the team for which he played 158 games. He plays as a midfield defender in addition to the proficiency of playing in all defense positions. He played brilliantly with his former Portuguese club and participated with them only once in the final of the European Champions League, in which they lost to their neighbor Porto with a solitary goal.

The new Brazilian player signed his contract in the presence of Yahya Abdul Karim, Chairman of Sharjah Board of Directors, Nasser Kashwani, Deputy of CEO, Abdul Wahab Al Roumi, member of Board of Directors, Abdullah Ibrahim, manger of the Senior Football Team, Ahmad Badr team's administrator and the player's agent.

Brazilian Vandenho thanked Sharjah management saying:" I hope to be a strong addition to the team and win with them the champions in the next season". He added: "I know very little about the technical standard of UAE football, but now I have learned much about the history of the club from my agent and some friends who advised me to accept the club's offer because of its successful and outstanding history".

The player expressed his delight for the existence of some of his colleagues who have a good reputation, such as Maselenho and striker Edinho the newly- signed pro. He said: We hope to be a useful triple for the team, successed to make the fans feel happy and contribute to make their dreams come true in achieving a championship in the upcoming season.
