Sharjah announces new contracts with local and expatriate players
Sharjah Club has announced a set of new deals with local and foreign players who will join their Senior Football Team for the new season.
Salem Jasim, former Kalba player, along with Al Dhafra defender Yasser Abdullah and his teammate full right-back Ali Saeed, were the first new signings for Sharjah. The Club has also signed contracts with Iranian player, Eman Mubaali and Brazilian striker, Eder Luciano. They also confirmed that a third foreign was on his way to join the team in the new season and the deal will be announced in the coming days. They are awaiting the arrival of the player to the country to undergo a medical test before signing with him officially.
The new signings were disclosed in a press conference yesterday, in the presence of Nasir Kashwani, Deputy Executive Director of the Club, Abdullah Ibrahim, Team Director, and players Mousa Hatab, Essam Mousa Darweesh, Rashid Ahmed, Yasser Abdullah and Brazilian Edinho.
Kashwani said that the Club has contracted the three new local players for 3 years each. Iranian Eman Mubaali has been signed as an Asian player and has played previously for Al Wasl, Al Nasr and Al Shabab. Brazilian Eder Luciano, nicknamed "Edinho", played for Mes Kerman of Iran for three years, and scored 50 goals in 34 games over three seasons. He has signed a two-year contract with Sharjah.
Abdullah Ibrahim thanked the Club for their great efforts in the off season to attract these strong foreign players and prominent local players, who will serve the team in the new season.
