Sharjah and Ajman hold Al Jazira and Al Nasr to a draw

Sharjah and Al Jazira were held to a 2-2 draw in the first game of the Etisalat Pro-League second round match played this evening at Sharjah Stadium. Sharjah came from behind to level the score in the 4th minute of the injury time via Salim Jasim who moved from Kalba recently. Al Jazira raised their tally to four points while Sharjah have collected a lone point so far.
Sharjah played better that their last match, making some good movements in the midfield zone and in the offensive line, but they lost a number of chances that saved brilliantly by Al Jazira's goalkeeper Khalid Essa. Sharjah committed some errors which were capitalized by AL Jazira in scoring their two goals.
The two teams ended the first session with a goalless draw despite of a number of attempts.
Brazilian substitute Bare put Al Jazira into the lead in the 69th minute off an error committed by the defenders, for Bari to drive the ball into the empty net. Edinho made it 1-1 six minutes later off a 25-meter strong volley that hit the upright and went into the net.
Oliveira gave Al Jazira the lead when he netted the second goal after receiving a perfect pass from Ali Mabkhoot behind the defenders. At the time the game was heading towards a draw, the substitute Salim Jasim surprised the visitors when he scored a last minute goal to end the game with a 2-2 result.
In the second match Al Nar were forced to a 1-1 draw at Al Maktoum Stadium. The home team scored the first goal through Hussain Ibrahim 17 minutes into play and Ibrahima Tore snatched a valuable point for Ajman when he found the back on the net in the 92nd minute to end the game with a 1-1 draw. Ajman raised their balance to two points while Al Nasr have collected their first point.
