Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammad: No temporary substitute for Gyan
Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Khaled Al Nahyan, Chairman of Al Ain Club Board of Directors, assured that the club management has completely detracted from signing with a temporary substitute for the Ghanaian top scorer Asamoah Gyan during his rehabilitation and participation with his national team in the Africa Cup of Nation competition co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea and which will kick off next Friday.
“We don’t have enough time to sign with a new player, however the team has passed all the critical tests since the season’s kick off particularly the absence of many important players, yet the players have proved that their strength lies within and they have the power to challenge.” said the Chairman.
It’s worth mentioning that Gyan continues his treatment at the Ghanaian national team training camp in South Africa in preparation for the upcoming awaited (CAF) competition.
