Al Shabab beat Bani Yas 2-0; Al Shaab surprise Kalba with a 4-0 win

Dubai ــ based Al Shabab have collected full points in their Etisalat Pro League first appearance in this season following  a 2-0 win over visiting team Bani Yas in the game held this evening at Al Maktoum Bin Rashid Stadium in Al Shabab Club. Essa Obaid powered a perfect header into the left hand side to give the winners the lead in the 23rd minute off Ciel’s cross ball. The losers played 65 minutes without their Egyptian player Zidane who was replaced by Adnan Hussain due to injury. The home team finished the first half with a lone goal result.

Al Shabab continued their domination of the match after the interval that led them to score the second goal in the 79th minute through Brazilian player Adgar Bruno who benefited from his countryman Luiz’s heel pass for the ball to touch Tamer’s foot before going into the net. The two teams played the last minutes without making any changes ending the game with a 2-0 win for Al Shabab.

On the other hand Al Shaab started their march in the Etisalat Pro League with a four straight goals win over Ittihad Kalba in their first round match played tonight on the losers’ pitch. Both teams came up with a poor technical display in the first session for the visiting team to dominate the game after the break which resulted in their four goals. The hosts missed the efforts of their French dynamic professional player Essa “Gregory” who was injured during the warm up stage only minutes before the encounter kicked off.  Careca scored the opener nine minutes into the second half off a penalty kick and added the second in the 61st minute. Rodrego Souza Silva made it 3-0 in the 82nd minute and Naser Khamis sealed the result for his side netting the fourth goal one minute to the final whistle.
