Salim Khamis moves to Al Nasr
Al Ahli Club's official website has announced the permanent transfer of their former player Salim Khamis to Al Nasr Football Club, under the directives of H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Al Ahli Club.
Al Ahli extended their gratitude to the player for his successful career with their Senior Football Team, during which time he achieved many championships and accomplishments.
Salim Khamis moved from Al Ahli to Al Nasr at the beginning of the last season on a loan basis, which included the stipulation that he was not to play against his former club when the two teams faced each other in the League. This was a condition that many Al Nasr fans found hard to accept.
The relationship between Al Ahli and Al Nasr is quite unique as many players have transferred from one club to the other. Ali Abbas and his brother Salah moved from Al Nasr to Al Ahli, as has Amer Mubarak who will begin his career with Al Ahli the next season after signing a contract afew months ago. Whilst goalkeeper Abdullah Mousa, Badr Yaghoot and Salim Khamis moved from Al Ahli to Al Nasr.
