A single victory in the first round of the Etisalat Reserve League

The first round of the Etisalat Reserve League which was held on Sunday, October 16th, ended with a lone victory when Al Jazira defeated Al Ahli 2-0 in the game played at Rashid Stadium while Dubai and Emirates were tied to a goalless draw in their match played at Dubai pitch. Brazilian striker Bare netted the two goals for his side. Al Wahda and Al Shabab also drew 1-1 in their game played at Al Nahyan play ground in Abu Dhabi. Ibrahim Abdullah scored the first goal for Al Shabab in the 32nd minute and the hosts leveled the score through Mohammad Ahmed Jasim one minute later.

The first round will be concluded this evening with Bani Yas hosting Ajman, Al Nasr facing Al Ain at their home ground and Sharjah taking on Al Wasl at the formers' Stadium.
