Bani Yas and Al Wahda beat Al Shabab and Dubai; Sharjah and Al Ain draw goalless in Reserve League

With a lone- goal win over Al Shabab scored by Fawaz Awana in the 28th minute in the Etisalat Reserve League fifth round match played at Al Shamkha pitch, Bani Yas raised their balance to 10 points to take 3rd position behind leaders Al Jazira and second-placed Al Ain while Al Shabab have only four points that classified them in 9th spot.

In the second match Al Wahda beat their counterpart Dubai 2-0 at their pitch in Al Aweer. Essa Abdullah netted the first goal for Al Wahda only 15 minutes into play and Ali Murad scored the second into his own net 12 minutes to time. Al Wahda are sitting in 7th place with 6 points while Dubai’s balance was frozen at one point at the bottom of the table.

In the last game of the day, Sharjah and Al Ain were tied to a goalless draw. Sharjah have three points in 10th spot while Al Ain have 10 points in second position, two points behind leaders Al Jazira. Al Ahli and Sharjah will host Al Ain and Al Shabab in their postponed matches scheduled for December 14.
