Al Jazira, Al Wasl and Al Nasr beat Ajman, Emirates and Al Ahli in the Reserve League

The Etisalat Reserve League fifth round matches were concluded with three games as Al Wasl, Al Jazira and Al Ahli hosted Emirates, Ajman and Al Nasr respectively. Al Jazira defeated Ajman 3-2 to raise their balance to 12 points while Ajman have 5 points. Salim Saif put Ajman into the lead one minute before the break and Waleed Jasim leveled the score for Al Jazira in the 56th minute and added the second five minutes later. Salim Ali netted the third goal for the winners in the 75th minute and Abdullah Ali made it 3-2 three minutes into injury time.

In the second encounter of the day, Al Wasl beat Emirates 2-1. The winners opened the score two minutes after the breather through Amar Mubarak and his colleague Tariq Ahmed added the second in the 51st minute while Ahmed Abdul Hameed reduced the deficit for Ajman two minutes later. Al Wasl have 8 points, two head of Emirates.

In the last game of the fifth round, Al Nasr maintained a big win over Al Ahli when they defeated them 5-2. Ali Abbas, Mane Sabeel, Ali Ahmed (two goals) and Marwan Ali scored for Al Nasr in the 5th, 30th, 33rd, 53rd and 80th minutes. Juma’a Sangoor netted both goals for Al Ahli in the 25th and 85th minutes. Al Nasr raised their tally to 7 points while Al Ahli have only 3 points.
