Conclusion of first round of the Etisalat Reserve League

The first round of the Etisalat Reserve League was concluded yesterday with three games. The hosts team Al Wasl and Sharjah ended their match with a 2-2 draw. Mohammad Rashid of the visiting squad gave his side an early lead when he scored the first goal of the match only 8 minutes into play for Ali Mohammad to level the result in the 32nd minute. Abdullah Abdul Rahman of Al Wasl made it 2-1 three minutes before the break, but Sharjah's plsyer Salim Jasim pulled one back in the 45th minute.

In the second game of the day, Al Ain trounced the home team Al Nasr with a 4-0 win. Shihab Ahmed netted the first half lone goal in the 8th minute. And Mohammad Salim doubled the score in the 55th minute before his team mate Mohammad Nasir added two more goals to secure a 4-0 result for Al Ain.

In the concluding match of the first round, Bani Yas maintained a 2-0 victory at home over visitors Ajman. The winners netted both goals before the interval via Talib Salim in the 5th minute and Fareed Ismail 8 minutes before the end of the first session.
