Al Ain lead the Etisalat Reserve League after second round

 

The Etisalat Reserve League defending champions Al Ain, are sitting on top of the table following their 2-0 win over their rivals Ajman in the second round match held at Tahnoun bin Mohammed Stadium in Qattara to raise their tally to six points while Ajman’s balance was frozen at one point. Mohammed Naser and his colleague Mohammed Al Saadi scored for the winners in the 65th and 73rd minutes respectively. Al Jazira also beat Al Ahli by the same margin at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi to reach the 4th point. Ali Mabkhoot put them into the lead in the 61st minute and Sultan Barghash added the second in the 77th minute. 

Dubai collected their first three points at their home ground following their 3-0 victory over Al Shaab who have collected earlier the same balance of points. Mohammed Ibrahim netted a brace in the 28th and 78th minutes and Rashid Hassan scored the third in the 71st minute. Both Al Shabab and Al Wahda shared points with a 2-2 draw in the encounter played at the formers’ Stadium. Sanad Ali netted two goals for Al Shabab while Mohammed Al Shehhy and Essa Abdullah scored for the visiting team who raised their balance to four points against two for Al Shabab. Al Dhafra and Dibba Al Fujairah were tied to a 2-2 draw at Hamdan bin Zayed Stadium in the Western region for both teams to collect 4 points which is the same balance of Bani Yas who defeated Ittihad Kalba 3-2 at the losers’ Stadium. Al Wasl and Al Nasr ended their game with a goalless draw to raise their tally to two points each.
