Al Ahli defeat Al Shabab 2-0 in Reserve League

Al Ahli maintained their first win in the Etisalat Reserve League after defeating their counterparts Al Shabab 2-0 in the third week match played yesterday at the winners’ pitch. Abdullah Ahmed scored the first goal one minute after the interval and Juma’a Sangoor added the second in the 68th minute. The hosts are in 8th position with three points.

By the end of this round ,the teams are led by Al Ain who are staying on the of the standings with 9 points followed by Bani and Al Jazira in the 2nd and 3rd places with 6 points each. Emirates and Al Wasl are taking 4th and 5th positions respectively with five points; Sharjah and Ajman are in the 6th and 7th spots (4 points); then comes Al Ahli in the 8th position with 3 points; Al Wahad and Sharjah are in the 9th and 10th places with two points followed by Dubai and Al Nasr in the 11th and 12th spots with a lone point.

Mohammad Nasir of Al Ain is leading the scorers with 7 goals followed by Abdullah Abdul Rahman (Al Wasl) and Ali Mabkhoot (Al Jazira) with 4 goals each.
