Al Ain beat Bani Yas 4-2 approaching leaders Al Jazira are
Al Ain beat Bani Yas 4-2 in their Etisalat Reserve League six round match at Al Qattara Stadium to take second place behind leaders Al Jazira after raising their tally to 13 points. Bani Yas balance was frozen at 10 points. Despite of early two goals in the 10th and 18th minutes netted by Toni from Ivory Coast and Mohammad Jabir, but Al Ain restored their balance to score their first goal in the 22nd minute through Mohammad Malalla before Mohammad Nasser leveled the score five minutes before the break. Nasser added the second goal 9 minutes into the second session and Malalla made it 4-2 in the 69th minute.
Al Nasr overcame Sharjah 3-2 in the second match held at Al Maktoum Stadium. The losers took the lead when Abdullah Malalla scored only 9 minutes into play but Jamal Abdullah made it 1-1 in the 25th minute. Sharjah took the lead again through Sultan Ramadan in the 42nd minute but Ali Abbas brought the game to the golden square when he netted the equalizer two minutes later to end the first half with a 2-2 draw and his colleague Khalid Ahmed secured the three points for Al Nasr when he scored the winner ten minutes into the second half to raise his team's balance to 7 points against 3 points for Sharjah.
In the third game of the day, Al Wahda and Al Ahli were tied to a 1-1 draw in their match played at Al Nahyan Stadium. Ahmed Khalil scored for Al Ahli and Hamdan Rashid pulled one back in the 72nd minute to make it 1-1. Al Wahda have six points in sixth position while Al Ahli have 4 points that put them in 10th spot.
