Red Crescent and Al Dhafra sign agreement to support humanitarian projects

On the morning of Monday 4th February, Al Dhafra Sports and Cultural Club signed a cooperation agreement with the Red Crescent to support humanitarian and charitable development projects undertaken by the RTA within the UAE, and other countries in the neighbouring region and wider world.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Red Crescent Authority by H.E. Mohamed Yousef Al Fahim, Deputy Secretary-General of Support Services, and by Musa’ab Sultan Al Marzouqi, Chief Executive Officer of Al Dhafra Sports and Cultural Club, in the presence of H.E. Ahmed Humaid Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Crescent.

The signing of the cooperation agreement between the Red Crescent and Al Dhafra is part of a strategic plan to establish a framework throughout society, promoting cooperative efforts from both government institutions and private entities to support the Red Crescent and its charitable initiatives. The Red Crescent provides aid and support to target groups including the poor and needy, medical patients and students both locally and internationally, and the agreement with Al Dhafra aims to increase awareness of its activities through different promotions and by distributing literature to Club members and patrons, highlighting the works and purposes of the humanitarian organisation. The cooperation between Red Crescent and Al Dhafra will extend to support from all Club associates, including players, staff and fans.
