Quique: We are trying to improve the performance of defense and correct all the errors

 

Al Ahli coach Flores Quique assured that his team are still far from the level they are looking for. He said, "As a technical body, we would like to improve the offensive and defensive mentality of the team and raise the level of physical preparation, but the current situation of the team is far from what we are aspiring to in the future".

Quique confirmed that Friday's game against Al Nasr will be different from the last two games in the Etisalat Cup, because his team have become better in both technical and physical aspects compared to the recent period, especially after the return of the international players Al Hammadi, Amer Mubarak and Al Zaabi, who will no doubt give an important addition to the team.

The Spanish coach said, "Al Ahli defense is a significant problem, I know that my team conceded many goals in the recent games, but we are trying to improve the performance of defense and correct all the errors at the back line".
