Pro League Committee to stage 2013/2014 Competitions draw ceremony

With professional football in the UAE entering into its sixth season and the league embarking upon a new era under the recently-announced Arabian Gulf League name, the excitement is building as preparations for the upcoming season continue. The Pro League Committee has announced that the draw ceremony for the 2013/2014 football season will be held on Friday 26th July 2013 at 10pm at the Headquarters of the General Authority for Youth and Sports Welfare in Dubai, shaping the footballing year to come.  

 The event is expected to be attended by representatives of the UAE Football Association, Pro League Committee, the Sports Councils, and the fourteen professional clubs, as well as members of the media.

 The draw ceremony will determine the Arabian Gulf League fixture list for the 2013/2014 season, as well as the Cup competition, which will follow a new format for the coming season.
