Al Wahda, Bani Yas, Ajman and Kalbaa to the quarter final

 

It was no surprise how the round of 16 of the President's Cup competition came to an end, where Al Wahda, Bani Yas, Ajman and Kalbaa made it to the quarter final after beating Dubai, Al Nasr, Daba Al Hosn and Al Dhafra in respective.

Al Wahda vs. Dubai

After a 0 tie in the first half of the match that took place in Sharjah, Al Wahda successfully netted 4 goals started by the Brazilian Fernando Piano in the 65th and the 73rd followed by his citizen Magrow in the 80th minute. And just 3 minutes before it all ends Ibrahim Al Elwy scored the 4th leading their team to the round of 8.

Bani Yas vs. Al Nasr

A single net scored by Haboush Saleh in the second half of the match that took place at Al Nahyan stadium in Abu Dhabi saved Bani Yas the extra time and penalties and crowned their remarkable performance throughout the game to the next round.

Ajman vs. Daba Al Hosn

In the 20th minute of the first half of the match that took place at Dubai stadium in Al Aweer, Ali Khamis netted the single score that toppled Daba and led Ajman to the quarter final.

Kalbaa vs. Al Dhafra

A tough exciting match that started with a 2-0 to Al Dhafra and was about to end with penalties. However; Elias Kano saved Kalbaa the effort and snatched the winning score in the extra time and brought joy to all his team and fans making their way to the next round

It is worth mentioning that the round of 16 matches will continue tomorrow Sunday Dec. 15th, where Al Jazeera meets Al Shabab at Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Stadium In Al Qattarh at 4:50 pm, Sharjah vs. al Khaleej at Emirates Stadium In Ras Al Khaima at 8:00 pm, Al Wasl vs. Al Ahli at Al Maktoum Stadium at 8:00 pm and Al Ain vs. Emirates at Rashid Stadium 4:45 pm.
