The PLC holds workshops for the match officials
The Pro League Committee “PLC” held on Monday, January 14, 2013 series of workshops which started with the ball boys’ officials attended by all professional clubs’ representatives with the exception of Bani Yas Club Football Company’s representative. It concentrated on the importance of the children’s role in carrying the “fair play” flag, while they are entering the pitch in addition to other details regarding the procedure that they should follow after finishing their tasks and the length of time they must abide with.
The committee listened to many opinions submitted by the ball boys’ officials, and various matters and issues they may face during their task. Taha Ezzat, Senior Manager of Technical and Competitions Department explained various matters related to the players escorts, while they are entering the pitch to greet the fans before the game kicks off.
Events of workshops continued thereafter with a workshop for the PLC Match Commissioners, where they discussed various cases they faced during their duties in the first round of the Etisalat Pro League this season, in addition to Etisalat Cup. This workshop has seen overwhelming response from the participants to the suggested solutions in various issues.
Another workshop was also organized for PLC Media Officers and Access Control Officers, where they discussed various issues related to the match organization, and the most outstanding events and attitudes they faced while carrying out their work during the first round of the Etisalat Pro League this season.
