The PLC forms the Executive Office and determines the start of next season

His Excellency Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Vice Chairman of the UAE Football Association, Chairman of the Pro League Committee (PLC) extended gratitude to the UAE Football Association and the former Pro League Committee for the efforts they had made in favor of the UAE football. He also thanked the sponsors and praised the media role. Al Rumaithi disclosed the names of the Committee Executive Office explaining that the posts will be assigned to the members next week. He indicated that the next season competitions will commence with the Super Cup match on September 15. 

This statement was announced after the first co-ordination meeting for the companies of the Professional Football Clubs which was held today at the UAE Football Association headquarters in the presence of the representatives of these companies.

Al Rumaithi said: "The names of the members of the Executive Office of the committee were endorsed as follows: Abdullah Al Nabouda Chairman of Al Ahli Club Board of Directors, Marwan Bin Ghalita Chairman of Al Nasr Board of Directors, Abdullah Nasser Al Junaibi Chairman of Al Wahda Club Company, Hamad Bin Nikhairat member of Al Ain Club Board of Directors and Mohammed Saeed Al Nuaimi, member of Ajman Club Board of Directors".

A Rumaithi added: "We discussed a number of issues, including setting a date for the start of the next season, which begins on September 15 with the Etisalat Super Cup match. We also discussed the distribution of the posts of the Executive Office's Committee and the distribution of tasks and responsibilities which will be announced next week." He said, "The agenda  of the competitions of the season (Etisalat Pro League 2012-2013 , Etisalat Cup 2012 - 2013) will be discussed next week after the meeting of the Executive Office".

Al Rumaithi pointed out that the Executive Office and in coordination with the Football Association will determine the date of the quartet tournament which will be held with the participation of: Emirates, Sharjah, Al Dhafra and Al Shaab teams, to determine the two teams who will join the 12 professional clubs".

Al Rumaithi declared that a work plan and an integrated strategy of the committee will be set out over the next four years, to be followed so as to reach the desired goals and results for serving the UAE football.
