The PLC holds a coordination meeting with police leaders

The Professional League Committee (PLC) held a coordination meeting on Monday with police leaders from various Emirates at the UAE Football Association in Dubai under the chairmanship of Dr. Khalid M. Abdulla the PLC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in the presence of Michelle Chai Director of the Technical and Competitions department and Anas Bukhash Chief Operations Officer.

At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Khalid M. Abdulla delivered a speech welcoming all the attendees. He also thanked the representatives of the UAE police leaders for their presence conveying to them the compliments of the Chairman and the members of the Professional League Committee Executive Office. The meeting has discussed the games organizing policy like the mechanism of the fans entry to the stadiums, list of prohibited items, as well as the security measures in the games of the competitions organized by the Professional League Committee.

Dr. Khalid M. Abdulla assured the importance of the coordination meeting which was held in the presence of a number of police officers from the various Emirates. He  also praised their reaction during the meeting through their discussion of the work  mechanism in the next season, pointing out that the preparations for the competitions in the next season 2012-2013 is currently underway to achieve the desired goals and reach the true meaning of  professionalism in the world of football.

Dr. Khalid said: “We discussed several issues that would provide a favorable environment for the fans to attend the football matches. We also focused on the security and safety of the fans through the discussion of a list of prohibited items during the games, and the process of entry and exit of the masses, out of our keenness for the football fans to spend a good time to follow their favorite teams ".

It is worth mentioning that the meeting was attended by representatives of the police leaders from the Emirates of Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah.
