Uruguayan Olivera leads the scorers

 

 

 

Seventeen goals were scored in the second round of the Etisalat Pro-League, the same that scored in the first round with an average of 2.8 per match which is considered a weak average compared to the high abilities of the strikers as all teams have the best and experienced attackers.

Uruguayan Juan Olivera of Al Wasl is currently staying on top of the table with four goals followed by Brazilian Ricardo Olivera Al Jazira's striker with three goals, then Ismail Ahmed of Al Ain, Luis Antonio Jiminez (Al Ahli), Jader Volnei (Bare) of Al Jazira, Ibrahima Toure (Ajman) and Jociel Ferreira da Silva (Ciel) of Al Shabab who netted two goals each.

 

 The second round free of sent off

 

The matches of the second  round of the Etisalat Pro-League played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, was free of any cases of sent off , unlike the first round where four players were shown the red card.

The referees have shown the yellow card 31 times in the second round and Al Nasr – Ajman match was the highest in terms of the yellow cards as the referee Hamad Ali Yousuf showed the yellow card 5 times to Al Nasr's players against two for Ajman's players, all of them in the second session. Al Nasr avoided a fine of 30000 dirhams which is usually imposed by the disciplinary committee on any team whose players receive six yellow cards in one game.
