Kuwait host UAE and Lebanon face South Korea in Beirut

The Kuwaiti National Football Team will host UAE on Tuesday November 15th in an important match for the hosts who hope to snatch full points and take second position in the Asian second group and qualify to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil if Lebanon lose to South Korea. The Kuwaitis are staying in 3rd place with 5 points after losing last week at home to Lebanon who are taking second spot with 7 points.

The UAE Team who are sitting at the bottom of the table with no balance of points, have dashed their hopes following their loss at their home ground to South Korea who are leading the group with 10 points and were very close to secure  a berth to the final stage.

Lebanon and South Korea will meet tomorrow in Beirut in an essential encounter for the Lebanese as a win will boost their hopes while the Koreans need one point to ensure their qualification. The last two games in the Group “B” will be played on February 29th next year when UAE host Lebanon and Kuwait travel to Seoul to face South Korea.
