Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium to host Super Cup final

Al Jazira's Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi has been selected to host the 2013 Super Cup Final, which will see Al Ain, Champions of the 2012/13 Etisalat Pro League, take on their counterparts Al Ahli, holders of the President’s Cup. The Super Cup will mark the first competitive encounter of the new season 2013/2014 and is scheduled for Friday, August. 30.

Al Ain were crowned Champions of the Etisalat Pro League for the 2012-2013 season after they finished the campaign at the top of the table with 62 points, whilst Al Ahli captured the President’s Cup following a 4-3 victory over Al Shabab in the final, which also took place at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium.
