Al Ahli hope to compensate against Emirates; Bani Yas host Al Wasl in a strong game; Dubai face Al Shabab on Sunday

 

Al Ahli are set to host Bani Yas on Saturday October 22nd at Rashid Stadium in Dubai in their second round match of the Etisalat Pro-League as the hosts are endeavoring to compensate their big 0-4 loss to Al Jazira in the first round while Emirates are looking to add more three points to their balance after beating Dubai in the last game.

Al Ahli will enter the pitch with high spirits and great happiness after knocking out Kazma of Kuwait with a 1-1 draw in their second leg semifinal encounter and beat them 1-0 in the home game in the 26th GCC Clubs Champions league and President's Cup.

The team is led by the professional quadrant -Graffiti, Jaja, Jimenez and Yousuf Mohammad, along with Yousuf Abdullah, Saad Suroor, Mohammad Qasim, Tariq Ahmed, Ali Hussein, Amer Mubarak, Faisal Khalil, Ismail Al Hammadi, Ahmed Khamis, and they will miss skipper Khalid Mohammad, who received a red  card in the first round match against Al Jazira.

In the second match due to be played on Saturday, Bani Yas will host Al Wasl at home in Al Shamkha Stadium in a match expected to be of high quality, balanced and of high tactics as both teams are trying to collect three points. The hosts have one point after a draw with Ajman in the first round. Their coach Vieira will start the game with a lineup including Sangahoor, Fawzi Basheir, Amir Abdul Rahman, Mohammad Fawzi, Sultan Al Ghafri, Yousuf Jaber, Mohammad Gholoom, Nawaf Mubarak, Mohammad Jaber, Fahd Frisch and Adnan Hussein.

Al Wasl who will play the game under the leadership of legend Maradona, are pleased after their big 3-0 win over Sharjah in the first round during which they demonstrated a dazzling display that helped them to win. The trio Donda, Jimenez and Olivera will lead Al Wasl besides Essa Ali, Waheed Ismail, Majid Nasser, Tariq Hassan, Darweesh Ahmed, Mohammad Jamal, Rashid Essa, Yasser Salim and Saeed Saud. 

Dubai will host Al Shabab on Sunday October 23rd in the game which was postponed for 24 hours due to the visitors' participation in the semifinal stage of the 26th GCC Clubs Champions league and President's Cup. Al Shabab have three points after beating Al Wahda in the first round while Dubai lost to Emirates in Ras Al Khaimah in the same week and looking to compensate against Al Shabab.
