Maradona: The defeat is an alert before the launch of the league competition

Diego Maradona, Al Wasl Football Team’s coach, looked very sad in the post press conference that followed his team’s 5-0 defeat by their rivals Dubai squad in the Etisalat Cup match played on Saturday evening.
The legend apologized to Al Wasl’s fans for this big defeat, saying that the lack of concentration of the players in addition to non-implementation of the tactics as required, were the two most important causes behind the severe defeat, which is considered an alert and a warning.
He added:”We must work seriously to find out the causes and make appropriate treatments to the errors so as to avoid it in the forthcoming games. The level of the team was much lower than that of the second and third rounds”. Maradona said that the defeat with a 5-0 result is something possible in football, stressing  the importance of eliminating its passive effects, so as not to affect the morale of the team in the next phase, which will see the launch of Etisalat Pro -League.
Al Wasl will host Sharjah at their home ground in Zabeel next Sunday in their opening game of the Etisalat Pro –League Competition.
