PLC honors the Jiu Jitsu Champions in the clasico match

 

The Professional League Committee (PLC) honored a number of the UAE Jiu Jitsu champions at Al Ain v Al Jazira clasico round 19 match held on Friday, April 27 at Tahnoun Bin Mohammed Stadium in Qattara. The ceremony included a show presented by some of the Jiu Jitsu players who demonstrated their technical and physical capabilities in this kind of sport before taking some photos in the presence of Dr. Nasser Salem Al Ameri, Member of the Board of Directors of the Professional League Committee (PLC).

Dr. Al Ameri assured the importance of honoring the Jiu Jitsu Champions in the UAE, saying that the Committee bears in mind its participation and influence in many of the events taking place in the UAE, through the games organized by the Committee in various tournaments. He added:" The Champions were honored as recognition from the Professional League Committee (PLC) to the importance of what has been achieved in the Jiu Jitsu sport in the presence of a big mass of fans who packed Tahnoun Bin Mohammed Stadium in Qattara

It is worth mentioning that the Jiu Jitsu sport saw a quality move in spite of its modernity, and was also given great interest by His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Presidential Aviation in Abu Dhabi and the efforts of the Wrestling, Judo & Jiu Jitsu Federation chaired by HE Mohammed Bin Thaloub.
