The match referee awarded Al Jazira a penalty when Brazilian Fernando was brought down inside the box for his countryman Ricardo Oliveira to make no mistake scoring the first goal two minutes before the breather and Diaky made it 2-0 three minutes into injury time giving the home team a first half 2-0 lead.

Sadomba pulled one back for Kalba in the 69th minute with a strong shot outside the box that deflected by the defender Juam’a Abdullah into the net. But Al Jazira Korean Hyungmin Shin added the third with a strong shot that went into the left hand side and Fernando completed the rout five minute to time. Kalba finished the game with ten players after Talal Abdullah was sent off afer collecting the second yellow card in the 89th minute.
