Al Jazira beat Al Ain 4-0
Al Jazira scored a spectacular rewarding 4-0 victory against their counterparts Al Ain in the encounter which took place this evening at Mohammad bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi within Round 7 of the Etisalat cup competition.
The first half saw Al Jazira’s first goal through a counterattack sent from Bare to Oliveira to Bare again and netted through Diaky Ibrahim in the 15th minute. Al Ain were struggling to score an early equalizer and were more than once close to reach a tie but luck was not on their side tonight even when Al Jazira remained with 10 players after Abdulrahim Juma was sent off for his rough behavior against Ahmed Al Shamsi yet the first part of the game saw the hosts reigning the pitch with one score to their own.
Bare gifted his team the second goal in the 64th minute, and the penalty performed by Oliveira gave the hosts their third goal in the 67th minute. The match 4th goal is credited to Bare who successfully netted a surprising shot in the 91st minute.
With 16 points Al Jazira reserve themselves an early ticket and get closer to the golden box leaving Al Ain temporarily second with 10 points waiting for tomorrow’s match that will gather Dubai and Al Wasl who are 3rd and 4th in Group A with 9 points.
