Al Jazira beat Ajman 1-0
Al Jazira hardly snatched the full mark off their tough opponents Ajman after a 1-0 victory in the encounter that took place at Mohammad bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi this evening at 5:50 pm within Round 16 of the Etisalat Pro League competition.
The 2011 champions were on a mission impossible to face the strong fighting spirit of their visitors, Ajman week after week are increasing hope to be amongst the top four, which gave them strength on the field and made them hard to compete with. The match was reigned by both for most of the game with a slight priority to the hosts who could create a lot of scoring opportunities throughout the match yet the first half had to end with a goalless draw.
It was the second half that saw the match single goal netted through Bare in the 61st minute which gave the Abu Dhabi side an invaluable 3 points to raise their tally to 32 points keeping the second place in the table and moving closer to top table Al Ain, while Ajman move back to the 6th place keeping their 21 points on the pro league standings.
