Hamdan Bin Mohammad issues a resolution on the provision of security and safety means for sports activities

 

His Highness Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, has issued a resolution on the provision of security and safety means for sport activities that are organized in the Emirate of Dubai.

The first article of the already enforced resolution states that:" all sport authorities and establishments, and any body organizing sports events or providing training facilities are bind to provide one or a number of ambulances and all means of necessary safety and security for the performance of its activity," while the second Article of the resolution states that those who do not provide the necessary means, will bear full responsibility".

The third Article states that Dubai Sports Council will take over the responsibility of monitoring and follow up of the implementation of this resolution and provide the rules in coordination with all responsible authorities."

The resolution of His Highness the President of Dubai Sports Council was issued to maintain the safety of athletes and participants in sport events and provide all means of protection which will have a positive impact on them as they are considered a national and sports wealth, and also to encourage all the citizens of the UAE and the residents to practice sports and participate in the various events.

The resolution also aims to develop the criteria of practicing sports and organize various sports events from local to international levels.

The Dubai Sports Council has sponsored the signing of a memorandum between all Dubai clubs with the Unified Ambulance Services Center to provide ambulances in all official sports activities take place in the clubs. The resolution of His Highness, the President of the Council includes all activities of the championships, warm up training camps and festivals.
