PLC launches the Etisalat Pro League Fantasy football

 

 

The Pro League Committee “PLC” has launched the Etisalat Pro League Fantasy Football Game which gives the different football fans an opportunity to participate in the game and challenge to collect the highest number of points through forming a team out of the Etisalat Pro League Players. The points collected by the players during the rounds will be calculated based on their participation, making or scoring goals or even their overall performance in the matches. The points will be counted starting from the Etisalat Pro League round 14 which will be held on Monday and Tuesday, January 21-22, 2013.

Colin Smith, the  PLC Chief Executive Officer “CEO” , emphasized  the importance of launching the Fantasy Football Game in order to expand the base of Etisalat Pro League followers and create a competitive environment amongst the registered participants on the Fantasy Football Game  through: www.fantasy.proleague.ae. 

Smith said: “In response to the implementation of the decisions of the PLC Executive Office, which always endeavor to expand the fans base for the Etisalat Pro League, we worked hard to launch the “Etisalat Pro League Fantasy Football Game” to attract the attention of many fans, and put them in the atmosphere of the competition between each other, through registration in the site.

He stated that the same game saw large numbers of participants in international popular leagues like the English Premier League, and the European Champions League. "We are seeking, like other international Leagues, to create a competitive environment between the followers of different affiliations to form their favorite teams out of the 14 professional clubs players", added Smith.

The PLC Chief Executive Officer concluded that “Prizes will be awarded to the winner of the Fantasy Football game at the end of the Etisalat Pro League competition. The winner will receive valuable prize, which will be announced in advance”.
