Al Ain Etisalat Reserve League Champions defeat Al Ahli 1-0

 

Al Ain Etisalat Reserve League Champions started their march with a lone-goal win over Al Ahli in the match held at Rashid Stadium in the losers’ club. Mohammed Naser scored the all- important goal of the game in the 57th minute after both teams finished the first session with a goalless draw.

Dibba Al Fujairah overcame their counterparts Dubai after maintaining a 3-2 hard fought victory in the same round at Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain. Rashid Mohammed gave the winners the lead in the 30th minute only for Ahmad Saif to level the result two minutes later and added the second in the 37th minute to end the first half with a 2-1 win in favor of his side Dubai.

But Dibba Al Fujairah recovered after the breather for Mohammed Ahmad to bring the game back into parity squaring the equalizer  in the 53rd minute before netting the winner in the 72nd minute to end the game with a 3-2 win for Dibba.

On the other hand Ajman played at home at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium against Al Dhafra. The match ended with a 2-2 draw. The home team netted an early goal 11 minutes from the start through Al Sheikh Ali and Adil Ali Al Hamadi made it 1-1 in the 23rd minute. Ajman’s player Mohammed Zahran added the second three minutes later to end the first session with a 2-1 lead. But the visitors pulled one back through Salim Al Hamadi to end the match with a 2-2 result.

In the last game of the first day, Al Wahda beat Al Wasl 3-2 in the match held at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
