Al Wahda remain on top of Reserve League; Kalba beat Al Ain 4-1

Al Wahda remain on top of the Etisalat Reserve League following their 5-2 win over Al Nasr in their 8th round match held at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The winners raised their tally to 22 points while the losers’ balance was frozen at 11 points.

In the second game of the day, Ittihad Kalba overcame Al Ain 4-1 to take their record to six points against 16 points for Al Ain who are staying in third position provisionally. Al Dhafra also continued their positive results after beating Dubai by a solitary goal to raise their tally to 18 points that classify them as runners up, four points behind leaders Al Wahda while Dubai remain with only 7 points.

In the last game of the first day, Dibba Al Fujairah defeated Al Wasl 3-1 at Zabeel Stadium to sit in fifth place with 13 points whereas Al Wasl remain at the bottom of the ladder with only one point.
