Ajman and Al Shabab hinder Al Ain and Al Wahda in Etisalat Reserve League

Both Ajman and Al Shabab succeeded in hindering Al Ain and Al Wahda and forced them to a 1-1 draw in the Etisalat Reserve League round 15 matches held at Rashid bin Saeed and Al Nahyan Stadiums in Ajman and Abu Dhabi respectively. Al Ain took their tally to 30 points to remain on top of the standings while Al Wahda are runner up with 28 points followed by third-placed Al Shabab on goal difference who have collected the same balance of points. Ajman are sitting in sixth position with 21 points.

On the other hand, Al Ahli maintained a 4-2 valuable victory over Al Jazira in the match played at Rashid Stadium at Al Ahli Club for the winners to take 7th spot with 21 points against 24 points for fifth-placed Al Jazira.

In the same round, Al Wasl came out with a hard fought win beating their city rivals Al Nasr with a lone goal at Al Maktoum Stadium to raise their record to 10 points that helped them to move from the bottom of the ladder and jump to 12th place whereas Al Nasr slipped to 8th position with 18 points.

In the last encounter of the day, Bani Yas crushed their rivals Ittihad Kalba with six straight goals at the winners’ home ground in Al Shamkha to remain in 10th spot with 16 points, one point behind Dibba Al Fujairah who will host Al Dhafra tonight, while Kalba are at the bottom of the standings with 9 points.
