Al Dhafra trounce leaders Al Wahda in Etisalat Reserve League

Al Dhafra reduced the difference between them and Etisalat Reserve League leaders Al Wahda after beating them with a solitary goal in the 11th round match played at Hamdan bin Zayed Stadium in the Western Region. It was the first loss for Al Wahda who are still on top of the table with a record of 26 points, one point ahead of Al Dhafra who are staying in second place.

In the second game of the day, Al Jazira and Al Shaab were tied to a goalless draw at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium for the formers to raise their tally  to 17 points against 9 for the latters.

Al Ain outclassed their counterparts Bani Yas 3-1 in the third match held at Tahnoun bin Mohammed Stadium in Qattara. Yousuf Ahmad Yousuf, Fawzi Fayez and Mohammed Malalla scored for the hosts in the 5th, 53rd and 65th minutes respectively while Haboosh Saleh netted Bani Yas lone goal also in the 65th minute off a penalty kick. Al Ain defending champions are sitting in third position with 23 points whereas Bani Yas have 10 points that classify them in 10th place.

In the concluding match of round 11, Ajman came out with a big 3-1 win over Al Nasr at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium in Ajman to increase their balance to 16 points in 6th position while the losers have 15 points to step down to 7th spot.
