Al Wahda retain leadership; Al Wasl snatch first win in Etisalat Reserve League

Al Wahda continued their winning streak in the Etisalat Reserve League for this season 2012-2013 after they surpassed their guests Ajman with a solitary goal in the 10th round game to retain the foreground sitting on top of the table with 26 points,five points ahead of their nearest competitors Al Dhafra who are runners-up with a balance of 21 points . It was not an easy match for the winners despite of playing at their home ground in the capital Abu Dhabi. They beat their opponents with great difficulty who demonstrated a brilliant display through the entire 90 minutes. Ajman are currently staying in 8th place with 13 points.

Al Shabab overcame Dibba Al Fujairah with a lone goal in the match held at Maktoum bin Rashid Stadium in Dubai to add three points to their tally that helped them to jump to third position with 20 points, the same balance which was collected by Al Ain team but Al Shabab are ahead of Al Ain with the goal they scored in the seventh round match at Qattara Stadium which ended with a 1-1 draw. This loss puts Dibba Fujairah in the middle of the table occupying seventh place after collecting 14 points from four wins and two draws.

On the other hand, Al Shaab and Al Ain shared points following their 2-2 draw in the encounter played at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium in Sharjah for the hosts to take 11th spot with 8 points against 20 points for Al Ain who are sitting in fourth place.

In the concluding match of the 10th round held at Ittihad Kalba Stadium in Sharjah, Al Wasl outclassed the home team Kalba 1-0 to maintain their first win in this competition since it began to raise their tally to four points, but they are still lying at the bottom of the ladder, two points behind Kalba
