Round 16 Etisalat Reserve League Round-Up

Al Wahda kept pace with the Etisalat Reserve League leaders in Round 16, as they secured a 4-2 victory over Kalba at the Ittihad Kalba Club Stadium on Saturday to put them on 31 points; just two behind Al Ain. Kalba remain rock bottom of the table on 9 points.

Al Wasl’s second string fared better against Al Ahli than their First Team counterparts, notching up a 4-1 win at Zabeel Stadium on Saturday. Al Wasl are 12th in the League with 13 points, and Al Ahli stay on 21 points in 7th position.

Al Nasr and Al Shabab shared the spoils at the Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium in a 0-0 stalemate, which puts Al Shabab on 29 points in third place, and Al Nasr sit ninth with 19 points.

Dubai and Bani Yas played out a 1-1 draw at the Dubai Sports & Cultural Club Stadium in Al Awir on Saturday evening, and the result sees Dubai in 11th position with 13 points, and Bani Yas one place above them in 10th with 17 points.

To conclude Round 16 of the Etisalat Reserve League, Al Shaab and Dibba Al Fujairah also shared the points in a 1-1 draw at the Khaled Bin Mohamed Stadium in Sharjah. Al Shaab remain second from bottom with 11 points, whilst Dibba Al Fujairah’s tally increased to 21 points in 8th place.
