The second-half season premiere part.1

The second-half season premiere is at the door and the strive for the title returns this Sunday 22 January where six teams seek different positions, getting closer to the league summit and some want to prove that they can do better. The second term kicks off with the two bottom clubs encounter Dubai vs. Emirates to be held at Al Awir Stadium 5:10 pm, Bani Yas face their rivals Ajman home at Al Shamikha Stadium 5:15 pm, and the first night ends with the 2011 league champions Al Jazira against their Dubai-based opponents Al Ahli at Rashid Stadium in Dubai 8:00 pm within Round 12 of the Etisalat Pro League competition.

Dubai vs. Emirates
The two bottom teams on the standings both striving to escape the ghost of elimination, Dubai are known with their bursting enthusiasm and apart from their last 4-2 league-defeat before Al Jazira they rarely have been outplayed. Their new Egyptian head coach Al Ramadi have hopes to survive with the team throughout the second part of the competition and the club have equipped the team with new players including the Lebanese Abbas Atwi who have showed some significant qualities and the French Nicolas Marine replacing the Uzbek strike Bakayev during the January transfer window. Still with 6 points in the league table, Al Awir lions have to fight hard to move forward. Emirates who have conceded 30 goals in the first-half season and classified as the weakest link in the competition, have made vital changes to revive starting from the joining of the Tunisian head coach Al Benzarti and the efficient recent contract with the 28 year old Ivorian Diarra who made a difference in the team’s last 2-2 encounter against Al Wahda, alongside his team mate player Al Hassan Keita who is recovering from injury.

Bani Yas vs. Ajman
Bani Yas with 13 points on the standings holding the 8th place have contracted with the Algerian defender Ismael Bu Zeid and the Spanish former Al Wasl player Yesti alongside Fawzy Bashir and Senghore and the rest of the remarkable local players are expected to flame the pitch and fiercely get back in the competition under the supervision of the Argentinian head coach Calderon, and try to compensate the absence of their team mates Amer Abdulrahman, Haboush Saleh, Mohamed Jaber and Ahmed Ali who are away in the Olympic team training camp. Ajman with 12 points keeping the 9th place on the standings have confidence despite the 4-1 league defeat before the top table Al Ain, their outstanding performance during the first half of the match prove that the orange have the ability to play as a team and are capable of being a tough competitor.

Al Ahli vs. Al Jazira
Al Jazira with 23 points in the table need the 3 points to stay close to the league summit, two league-defeats before Al Ain and Al Shabab and the tie before Al Wahda did not pull the defenders champions down and proved with the last two league-wins against Al Wahda and Al Nasr that despite all the responsibilities put on their shoulders and against all odds they can always come back. The red musketeers with 14 points keeping them in the 7th place are expected to come stronger in the second part of the competition, the new contracts with the Cameron midfielder Akili Imana and Al Wahda former defender Bashir Saeed might see the reds at a completely different level.
